How does the StickyStrap™ work?
The suction cups create a vaccum that holds the suction cups in place. This enables the sticky strap to be stuck to virtually any smooth surface. It doesn’t work on rough or porous surfaces as these don’t allow the vacuum to be created. This also means that surfaces have to be clean in order to acheive good suction.
How long does the suction power last?
As long as no air is getting in under the suction cup. You can experiment for yourself, but we think you’ll be as amazed as us, how well and how long the suction cups stick to a smooth surface.
How do I clean the suction cups?
Just use a humid cloth – no cemicals! It’s a good idea to clean the suction cups on a regular basis, dust and grease accumulate on the suction cups from surfaces, from contact with your hands, from being in your pocket, and from general use. To ensure excellent suction we recommend you not only clean the suction cups, but clean the surface you are sticking your device to as well.
Special tip: a little moisture actually improves the suction!
Will the StickyStrap™ work in cold weather ?
The flexibility of the suction cup material is reduced by low temperatures. Suction power may be affected. And of course it sticks better in warmer weather, be careful with temperature differences, such as when sticking your device to a cold window in your car when the heat is on inside.
Will the StickyStrap™ work in hot weather?
Suction power will not be affected by moderate heat, actually it improves it!
Can the suction cups damage my phone?
No, The suction cup is made of rubber and will neither scratch nor mark the surface of your device.
Can the removal of the StickyStrap™ damage my phone?
Make sure that you remove the StickyStrap gently by lifting each suctioncup with a nail. The sticky strap will never damage the device. Don’t apply to much force when removing your phone, you don’t need to. Lifting an edge of the suction cup with a nail will allow air in and the suction will disappear and removal will be easy. You can also use a twisting motion when removing your device, this helps to release the suction.
Does the StickyStrap™ work with other phones?
Yes ! But only phones with a completely smooth back. Just as the surfaces you stick to need to be smooth, so do the backs of the devices you stick to them.
